Gerald “Jerry” L. Muhleman, 88, of Toledo, OH, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at the Sunset House, Toledo, OH. Born November 28, 1927, in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Frederick and Mary (Morton) Muhleman. A 1945 graduate of the former Macomber High School, he then served his country in the US Navy, during WWII. Jerry was the widower of Evelyn M. Becker. He retired from Mobile Oil in Toledo, after 40 years. Jerry enjoyed hunting, woodworking, square dancing, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his loving children, Phillip and Dale Muhleman, Janet (Lee Roy) Summerlin and Lorraine (John) Konesni; Grandchildren, Steven, Ashley, Myranda, Lisa, Ivy and Colton; Great grandson, William; brothers, Roland (Betty) and Duane Muhleman; and special friend, Dorothy Blevins. Jerry was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Velma Muhleman.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm, Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.
